" Reality is that which,
when you stop believing in it,
doesn't go away. "

--Philip K. Dick

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake IN IRIAN JAYA, INDONESIA has occurred at:
3.71S 135.22E Depth 10km Sun Feb 8 08:58:49 2004 UTC...
... Indonesia still getting hammered... a link !

Sunday... three laps, briskly, around the high school track with my daughter Chrissy and grandkids accompanying... Chrissy doing four laps ( briskly ) pushing Ashley in a stroller and David putzing around on his bicycle. Track still kinda' muddy from a recent rain.

Discussion on Da Boards... " Are computers smarter than people "... my 2¢ included.

Tried to help my Mother-in-law with her DVD player, but no use... the installation disk somewhere in South Dakota in a box. Finding a driver on the net proved most ludicrous. I did install Free AVG anti-virus and scanned... but as my father-in-law said, quite succinctly, " how could she get a virus if all she does is play solitary ? "... wise man in this, he. Also ran a " Belarc Advisor " printout for future troubleshooting or info for her computer.

My entries... " Poetry in Motion" daily contest:

                         The Key

                   The very desire for love

is the key to the soul

                   An obligation lost

                   to none

The 'tiles' were skewed toward the metaphysical in the poem offering I call simply " The Key " ... words like omneity (twice) and priesthood and salvation and determinism and prerequisite... yikes !... I stayed with the 25¢ words - not being up to using $5 and $10 words in a composition limited to 20 'tiles' of words or word fragments.
The Haiku " MesaVista2 " ... another view of what appears to be the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA... the best I could come up with... I must do better !

Post this sucka and back to Da Boards !

Kgiay hatromi !!!
