" The first man to compare the cheeks of a young woman to a rose was obviously a poet; the first to repeat it was possibly an idiot. "
--Salvador Dali... artist.
Also by Dali: " Those who do not want to imitate anything, produce nothing. " and " I seated ugliness on my knee, and almost immediately grew tired of it. "
Drowsy... (5) hanky day with (2) hankies in possession. Allergies running my life... sleep but a dream.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous, but the pollens are rampant and bourne on the light breeze everywhere. My newest plum trees with tiny fruit !
Haven't been to Da Boards in a while... must make a note to check things out.
Chrissy and Richard preparing Easter eggs for the morrow.
Elders visiting tonight.
My entries... " Poetry in Motion" daily contest:

" Melancholia "... an allegory.
" Desert Scapes "... a Haiku: Beautiful vista pictured of many tall thin mesas, some likened to chimneys, over-shadowing the bare scrub of vegetation... including one denuded and bleached tree from apparent sand storms.
